Paintings for His Glory
Jesus is alive today, rescuing people worldwide through dreams and visions, revealing His glory and setting them free. A single encounter with Jesus can permanently transform your life. In 2013, He delivered me from darkness, appearing to me in my dreams and setting me free. My full story is in my book, “Awestruck by Glory.” I saw the man in white sitting at the end of my bed, His glorious presence filling the air. Meeting Him changed me forever. He transformed me and told me to bring His hope into the world. His beauty has been so overwhelming that I haven't stopped talking about Him since. I will be forever changed.
In 2026, during the war in Israel, as rockets flew over our heads, I started painting again. I remembered the dreams I had of Jesus and began painting Him in Galilee. Focusing on Him calmed me and reminded me of the man in white I had met many years earlier. He brings His peace, His shalom, His love, His hope, His light, and especially His glory to your soul. These paintings were made from my heart for Him, simply because I love Him and want to show others how real He is. Once you have experienced His love, all you want is more. I started drawing Him more and more, from my heart. I have drawn on my experience with Him and tried to reveal His glory to others. Each image is meant to bring you closer to Him. May these paintings help bring His glory to your household, and may He be revealed to all.

Return to the Galilee Collection
After our return to Israel in 2020, the Lord led us to the Galilee. I now have the privilege of walking in the land where Jesus walked every day. I see the flowers in bloom and feel the afternoon wind rise. I watch the rolling hills and the changing colors of the Sea of Galilee. Jesus is returning soon. He loves the Galilee. Many miracles happened here, and everyone who came to Him was healed. As I watch the rainbows fill the sky above the Sea of Galilee, I am assured that He promised us He would return. Many prophecies have been made about revival in Galilee. This is where Jesus began His ministry and told His disciples to meet Him after the resurrection. God's light will shine upon it again! As I painted Jesus throughout the Galilee, I felt His love for this land and His people. His glory will fill this place, awaken hearts, and bring hope.
These paintings are meant to leave you no choice but to focus on Him. They reflect an atmosphere of His Shalom and my love and devotion to follow the ONLY one who is the path: the way, the truth, and the life. He is looking ahead, and we are called to follow Him. His face is hidden because He is truly holy, and He will reveal Himself to each of us at the right time. Will you follow Him, too?
Return to the Galilee series
And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee:
and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
– Luke 4:14 (KJV)
The Shepherd
The Lord is our Shepherd, guiding and caring for us. In the winter of 2026, amid sirens for incoming rockets, I saw Yeshua calming His sheep. He walked a modern path in Israel, from the Big Shopping Center in north Tiberias to Highway 77, toward the horns of Hattin. The Lord reminded me of Psalm 23: He leads us to green pastures and through storms. Even in darkness, we fear not, for He is with us. His broad shoulders bore the sins of the world. The cane draws your focus to Him as Shepherd—tenderly seeking the lost, never forsaking, and yet is also for instruction, authority, and His protection. His love and instructions guide you to stay on the straight path.
Meet Me in the Galilee
This painting depicts the beach where the events of John 21 took place in Galilee. In Matthew 28:10, Jesus tells the disciples to meet Him in Galilee after the resurrection. In John 21, they fish there but catch nothing until a man in white on the shore instructs them to cast their nets on the other side. When they do, their nets fill, and they recognize Him as Jesus. Peter jumps into the water to meet Him. Jesus is there, roasting fish and serving breakfast. This likely took place along the Sea of Galilee, between Tabgha and Capernaum, at what is known as the John 21 beach, a place where we often pray and meet with the risen Messiah. Jesus still calls modern disciples to meet Him, dine with Him, and follow Him.
Ascent to Fruitfulness
Situated on a mountain southwest of the Sea of Galilee, lies a small town called Poriah Illit. Its name means "the heights of fruitfulness." A place of modern awakening, it is where many believers in Yeshua gather. Prophecies foretell it will become a revival center, abundant with the Lord’s fruitfulness. In the painting, Yeshua is ascending through the town’s main gateway, symbolizing that He is coming now and His fruit will abound.
Embrace My Spirit
Cast your eyes to the Savior. For from Him comes life and light, that awakens your soul. As He walks through the Galilean hills, He is beckoning your soul to follow Him into the light. Embrace His Spirit like a bride. Feel His love upon you. He will lead you to green pastures and guide you on His path. We can do nothing of our own, but through Him, we are drawn to the light and walk the path of righteousness and peace. Embrace His Spirit, do not let Him be quenched. But let Him saturate you with His love.
Spring in the Galilee
Springtime in the Galilee bursts with vibrant colors. The winter rain has replaced the dull fall hues with vivid shades that are almost impossible to paint. Here, Messiah Yeshua walks along Poriah Illit's southern ridge toward the north, as new life awakens around Him. The scene is captivating, featuring striking yellow daisies and mustard seed blooms that evoke freshness. A natural tapestry symbolizing God's love and care.
Glory Returns
This is the second painting I made of Jesus in the Galilee. It represents the return of God's Glory in our time. The painting was made from a picture I took of an incredible sunset over Mount Tabor, which is traditionally the Mount of Transfiguration. This the place where Jesus revealed His glory to His disciples 2000 years ago. In the painting, Jesus is walking from Galilee back to Mount Tabor, ready to reveal His Glory to this generation.
The Return
This was the first painting I created of Jesus in Galilee. It draws inspiration from a photo I took while driving from the Golan Heights down to the Sea of Galilee. Jesus is depicted standing on the lower hills along the eastern shore, an area once known as the land of the Gadarenes, the land of the Gentiles. He gazes westward at a stunning sunset over Tiberias and Israel. I envisioned Him returning to Israel after traveling the world for 2000 years, coming back to the land where He originally began. His glory is returning to Galilee, and those sitting in darkness will see a great light; His light will dispel the darkness.
Blooming Galilean Hearts
In this painting, Yeshua stands on a southwestern hill overlooking the Sea of Galilee to the east, with the Golan Heights in the distance. He is surrounded by beautiful yellow and red flowers typical of the Galilean Spring. The red Anemone, known in Hebrew as "Kalanit," meaning "little bride," is Israel’s national flower. It is brilliant red yet delicate, often associated with resilience, hope, sacrifice, and beauty. A field of blooming anemones is likened to a bride on her wedding night. This painting, titled Blooming Galilean Hearts, reflects how the flowers symbolize people blossoming as Yeshua enters their lives and they become the bride of Christ.
Lord of the Harvest
During Shavuot-Pentecost 2026, we visited a Galilean harvest festival near Yavne’el, celebrating the wheat harvest that had just begun. This painting shows a wheat field near Yavne’el, right before the harvest. I pictured Jesus walking westward at sunset, the wheat bowing to him, reminiscent of Joseph’s dream. He is alone, seeking helpers to bring in the harvest. “Then he said to his disciples, ' The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.'” Matthew 9:35-38. Shavuot is the biblical feast of harvest, during which the Holy Spirit was poured out, and 3000 souls were saved for the first time. It is also a day of supernatural love, when Moses received the Ten Commandments as a wedding covenant between God and Israel, and when God gave the Holy Spirit as our wedding promise with Yeshua. On Shavuot, we read the Book of Ruth, set on Bethlehem's threshing floor- the very place of the Messiah's birth. It's a day of divine love and celebrating the coming of His harvest of souls. Are you ready to be one of the workers?
(see also John 4:35).
Fishers of Men
This painting was created in spring 2026, amid high tensions between Israel and Iran. Because the beaches of the Sea of Galilee were closed, we visualized them and imagined our savior walking there. As Jesus wandered around the Sea of Galilee, He called His disciples to follow Him. “Follow Me” meant surrendering everything, walking as He did, and trusting Him fully—to follow in His footsteps. Peter and Andrew, the lively fishermen from Bethsaida, left everything to follow the Messiah. Jesus changed their lives, transforming them into powerful apostles for God. Instead of fishing for fish, they cast their nets for souls, guiding people to the Messiah for salvation, freedom, and deliverance. He can change you too. Follow Him, and He will make you a fisher of men. (see Matthew 4:18-19)

The River
In 2015, I dreamed of an old frame but could not see the painting inside. The frame bore the words “I will pour my spirit all over them” at the bottom, and I heard the Lord say: “Unity, Freedom, and Hope.” A year later, He miraculously revealed the painting meant for the frame. It served as a prophecy that God would pour His Spirit on His people. You can read the full story in my book *Awestruck by Glory* or at this link. The original artwork was created by my great-grandfather, Aris Knikker, a renowned Dutch painter. Though the mountains are originally in Austria, the Lord showed me they symbolize the mountain of God and the water flowing from it. The house signifies God's dwelling, and the bridge represents Jesus guiding us home. I loved this painting so much that I painted this copy for myself, using modern techniques to ensure accurate proportions. It now hangs in my living room, a reminder that God has promised to pour out His river of Life onto us.
Holy Spirit Breakthrough
Many people eagerly pray for a breakthrough and for the Lord’s Spirit to pour out. In this painting, I visualized an earthy-colored cloud with the Heavens opening above it. The Holy Spirit breaks through and descends from the light toward the earth. Among the earthy clouds, I included deep, dark spots symbolizing the sin in our lives. The red spots represent Jesus' blood, which paid the price for our sins. Only through Him can we find freedom. Through Him, the Heavens open, bringing the Spirit of the Lord—the Spirit of Freedom.
Will you drink this cup with me?
This painting is a reminder that the Lord passionately seeks us and wants to drink His cup with us. During Passover 2015, the Lord repeatedly gave me Luke 22:16 and revealed His deep desire to celebrate Passover and communion with His bride, the church (see my book Awestruck by Glory). Drinking the cup with Him means becoming part of Him, making a covenant with Him, and loving Him as in a wedding. You share in the bridegroom's suffering and in His victory. Jesus longs to drink this cup with His disciples. Will you drink it with Him? The painting was made a few years ago as part of Passover preparations and is a reminder that He drank the cup for you, to redeem you. When you accept it, you become part of Him, and He sets you free.
And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer.
– Luke 22:16
Carmel Revival
This painting represents the stage of Kehilat HaCarmel during revival. In 2026, in the midst of the war, I watched a live stream from Kehilat HaCarmel. This beautiful congregation is situated at the top of Mt. Carmel, the site where Elijah called upon the God of Israel and defeated 450 prophets of Baal. As I listened to the worship, I began to paint without knowing what I would create. Suddenly, I had a vision of the water of life descending from heaven through a small vertical window at the back, center of the stage. The water flowed onto the stage, which was marked by 12 stones representing the 12 tribes of Israel. At the same time, I saw fire on the stage, and the water did not extinguish it! It was Holy Spirit fire and water simultaneously. Interestingly, when Elijah called upon the Lord to defeat the prophets of Baal, fire came from heaven to quench the water below. Now I saw the opposite: living water descending onto the altar, but it did not put out the fire! Many promises and prophecies have been made for this congregation. May they all come true. And may everyone see God’s Spirit poured out on this place and declare, “The Lord, He is our God.”
